Opened in 1997 and home to a variety of events, including the Pottery & Antiques Festival, the Toy, Hobby, Sports & NASCAR Show, and the Carolina Home & Garden Show, the Hickory Metro Convention Center is one of the newest convention centers near Charlotte.
The Hickory Metro Convention Center is ideal for conferences, banquets, corporate meetings, events and trade show locations in western North Carolina. The convention center features over 76,000 square feet of meeting space, accommodates groups up to 3,800, and is within walking distance of major hotels, restaurants and shopping destinations.
